I had driven by Cactus Gallery many times, wanting to go in, but always on my way to work not having time to stop in or it wasn't open. Finally I checked out their website & saw that they were (are now) having a group show & an there was an open call to all artists. These are some of my favorite words, because it means that I might have an opportunity to show at a new gallery. I emailed one of the owners, Sandra & she kindly agreed to have me in the show. The first time visiting the Cactus Gallery, I was dropping off my piece for the show & I was pleasantly surprised. It's a nice, spacious venue with many talented artists on display. I highly recommend stopping in if you get the chance. I'm not just saying that because I'm showing there either, honest.
