Surprises, Surprises!: The Season of Spring opens at Flower Pepper Gallery

The irrepressible Daniel Rolnik is at it again. He's curated a huge group show over at Flower Pepper Gallery that sounds like it will be a very fun event. Daniel told us, "The idea is that all of the artists made an original piece and then also included surprises with it. So when you buy James Van Arsdale's ninja star, it actually comes with a ninja star! And other cool stuff like that! Julian Callo's piece comes with three one-of-a-kind zines. It's pretty spectacular!"

The not-to-be-missed opening reception is on March 1st, 2014 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

"I believe there is a wonderful connection between a work of art and the artist that created it. So, I have travelled the globe to put together this all-star group of artists with positive attitudes, happy hearts, and beautiful images that I can't wait for you to see! YAY!!! I sent 138 artists from all over the world blank art packs. They then filled the packs with 2 original works of art as well as bonuses like pencil sketches, zines, buttons, books, rings, and all other sorts of awesome art objects. "
