Elsewhere, a living museum set in a former thrift store in downtown Greensboro, NC, is now accepting applications for 2014 residencies. Installation, sculpture, textile, sound, and video artists, musicians, curators, scholars, writers, system-thinkers and game-makers crossing interdisciplinary boundaries are encouraged to apply. Artists are invited to create using the museum’s immense 58-year collection of cultural and material surplus for site-specific projects that interpret and contribute to Elsewhere’s concepts, collections, and communities.

Elsewhere is an active participant in the vitalization of its emerging downtown neighborhood, and an exceptional place for rethinking things in everyday and extraordinary life.
Individuals and collaborative teams working across media, fields, and disciplines are encouraged to apply. Residencies 2-6 weeks. Creative retreats and internships also available. Goelsewhere.org/residencies for more information.
