The longest running art fair west of New York City, photo l.a. annually showcases emerging and established artists from around the globe.
In recognition of Los Angeles' growing importance in the international art market, photo l.a. is proud to announce its 23rd edition in a new location: downtown at the L.A. Mart.
photo l.a. was the first, and is the longest running photographic art fair in Los Angeles. Beginning at Butterfield's Auction House, then moving to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium and the Barker Hanger, photo l.a. has always been a destination event. Celebrating its 23rd year, the new destination for photo l.a. 2014 is the L.A. Mart in downtown Los Angeles.
With the resurgence of downtown Los Angeles as a cultural and artistic hub, and Los Angeles' growing importance in the international art market, photo l.a. is proud to join the acceleration of downtown L.A.'s artistic impetus. Joining in on the renewed support of downtown Los Angeles are major art establishments like the new Broad Museum, The Geffen Contemporary, MOCA, and the Japanese American National and Chinese American Museums, along with many new contemporary galleries. photo l.a. and the L.A. Mart are connecting with this scene to present a phenomenal art experience in 2014.
