Forever & Today
Situated between the rapidly evolving Lower East Side and Chinatown neighbourhoods is the new not-for-profit exhibition space Forever & Today. At 100 square feet, directors Ingrid Chu and Savannah Gorton have lofty aspirations, with a diverse upcoming schedule of exhibitions, performances and public programs. Forever & Today’s inaugural event in September featured free commissioned editions by j. morrison, Slavs & Tatars, and Jasper Sebastian Stürup, with more to come in future events. On view until November 1st is Pablo Helguera’s The Seven Bridges of Königsberg (pictured above), an interactive card game that evaluates ones personality and state of mind. This space will surely prove that size does not determine quality in the art world, and much can be done with merely three modest walls.
