the #1 contemporary
art network

For me, gallery hopping is usually part of the work day. Since I love what I do, I can’t complain, and, especially when I’m on Wilshire or in Culver City, acting like I’m on the job seems completely fitting to the environment. But there is something surprisingly invigorating about going to galleries on Santa Monica’s Main Street or on the fringes of Venice Beach. Especially if it’s a sunny Saturday, the dominant mood is leisurely, fun-seeking, and infectious, reminding me that art-viewing might always be better off as a pleasure venture rather than a business venture.
