After visits at Sculpturesite and The de Young Museum, go by the Asian Art Museum and spend a few minutes contemplating the works in the exhibition while in the Meditation Alcove.



Pamina Traylor’s insight into the integration of nature and culture is clearly apparent in the early Japanese work in the museum’s collection. The Wave especially, which uses basketry to reveal an icon in Japanese art.
