I signed onto this website just to say some nice things about this show. I saw it while at the CalArts grad shows down in Chinatown last weekend and this body of work, although un-affiliated with CalArts in any way, really outshined everything I saw that night. Avitabile's fusing music with the sculptural representaion of pop stars blew me away. Go check it out while it's still up. comments
