Flying Dream was our title for a father and son show in New York, 2009. This series of images was the basis of a digital video animation, and comes from a personal dream of flying through a park landscape. The work echoes Gaston Bachelard’s Air and Dreams, where the sensation of flying in a dream is associated with stepping up and away from the ground. Here, the only wings are located at the heel of the foot, and the impulse through these is that of a liberating motion.
