Description
The work was at the origin of a series of sea abstactions created between 2009 to present.
It shows the sea as a mass of water, breaking through the light becomes organics, herbs, fishes etc..
Trained as an Architect, the natural idea that came up to my mind for exploring the sea was to imagine a section on the sea.
The composition is made on 3 strata: The deep sea, the middle sea and the sky. Then because I am a painter and not a science person, I created an event to challenge and enrich the composition.
A wave is attacking a boat...what's going to happen next? There is no answers in my paintings and it will never be.
Breaking Through ( 90x 120 cm) was created along the same composition and sold $4000 Available also in prints.
Moses's Hand (90 x 120) also from this series was sold $7000 as Gibraltar (same size).
