The Company owns and operates Hotel Broadway, New Delhi, which is home to the celebrated 'Chor Bizarre - India's Restaurant'. In 1996 RWTUV, Germany certified Hotel Broadway as India's first ISO-9002 Hotel, Restaurant and Banquet facility - the highest recognition for quality in the country, an exceptional tribute to the O.W.H. team and a rare honour for a hotel built in 1956.
O.W.H. has been operating the hospitality facilities and cultural events at the India Habitat Centre since 1997. Located in the heart of the city,'Habitat World'(as the hospitality facilities at IHC are known), boasts of the country's most comprehensive Convention Centre with 20 function rooms, a members' club with 58 guest rooms and fitness centre, 6 restaurants and 4 performance venues.
Since its opening in 1997, Habitat World has held between three and four cultural events every day - be it theatre, music concerts, dance performances, films, talks or open fora and has seen some of the most illustrious names in the world participating in its cultural calendar. Habitat World serves over 5000 meals daily, hosts over 6000 conferences and banquets each year and organizes over 1000 live cultural events annually making it India’s largest foodservice and entertainment destination.
O.W.H. also operates Epicentre in Gurgaon which brings to that part of the NCR an auditorium, an art gallery, an amphitheatre, a restaurant, conference & banquet rooms and a 45000 sq ft exhibition hall.
O.W.H. expanded its operations to NOIDA (East of Delhi) in September 2003 with the opening of ‘Chor Bizarre’, ‘Oriental Octopus’ and ‘Lynx’ (a Party Room) and to Gurgaon (South of Delhi) in October 2003 with another Chor Bizarre.
O.W.H. operates 12 restaurants in the N.C.R. including New Delhi’s first and still the foremost food court (Eatopia) with 6 sub brands. The restaurants at Habitat World - The All American Diner, Oriental Octopus (with a branch in Noida), Delhi ‘O’ Delhi, Past Times and The Deck have all carved out their special niches. Operating different restaurant concepts, straddling every concept, cuisine and wallet with equal panache is O.W.H.’s forté. 'Chor Bizarre', commenced operations in Mayfair, London in 1997 and has won several accolades, including being voted as one of the Best 10 Restaurants in London by The Independent and The Best North Indian Restaurant in U.K. by The Good Curry Guide. It was also voted amongst 'The top 5 imports in the world along with Nobu, Vong, Asia-de-Cuba & Mju' by Evening Standard, Metro. In the afternoons Chor Bizarre converts into Chai Bazaar serving 30 different teas from India and traditional Indian sweets and street snacks.
Tamarai, based at Covent Garden, London serves Pan Asian cuisine and can seat 110 for lunch and dinner with a bar capacity of 300. Designed as a hybrid hub - it is first and foremost a serious restaurant but also during the day time becomes a perfect choice for business meetings, launches and screenings. Post 5.30 pm Tamarai re-invents itself seamlessly from a fine dining restaurant to a late night bar and club. Tamarai was awarded the Best Wine list in London By The Independent.
