Leah Elizabeth Harmuth is a fine art and business consultant with a focus on emerging artists, contemporary fine art, and timeless design .  Her interests range paintings and prints by Gerhard Richter and Richard Diebenkorn to Tauba Auerbach, photographs by Ryan McGinley, Gregory Hayes sculptures, and Milo Baughman objets d’art.

Ms. Harmuth visits art fairs such as Art Basel Miami Beach, Frieze New York and TEFAF in Maastricht, and galleries and museums in New York City.  Leah’s art business background includes the Sotheby's Institute of Art, from which she will graduate in with a Master’s Degree in the Spring of 2013, as well as a business development fellowship at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.  As an active member of MoMA's Junior Associates and a founding Steering Committee member of NYFA's Young Patrons Circle, Leah is also an avid supporter of non-profit fine arts programming.  Leah Harmuth graduated from the University of Pennsylvania summa cum laude and received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.

Leah Harmuth is committed to developing personalized client relationships through her fine art consulting business, which focuses on advising galleries, collectors, and emerging artists. Services include researching and assessing fair market and long-term investment value of fine art, as well as arranging appraisal and authentication of artwork by experts in the field.  Leah believes in transparent transactions and in the virtue of demystifying the often opaque art world and is an ardent advocate for contemporary art.
