On Friday November 2nd we will be joining Brooklyn's premiere arts and culture magazine,
Chief, to celebrate their 1-year anniversary with a blow-out evening of art, film, music and much, much more.
The
SILENT AUCTION, NOT SO SILENT ROCK SHOW
kicks off with an early evening screening of original films including
shorts, documentaries, and experimental films by Eugene Mirman, Michal
Kosakowski, Nick Chatfield-Taylor, and Ries Straver, and then rolls
into array of live performances from upstart Brooklyn bands Ultra
Dolphins, Rocket Surgery, The Swet Band, Le Rug, and Ninjasonik with
DJs Dirty Finger, Rev. McFly & Porkchop spinning into the wee hours.
The
Silent Auction itself will feature 50 works of art by Chief artists,
both local and international, with individual works starting at an
opening bid of $50.
Displayed in the main space throughout the
night, the auction also functions as a star- studded group exhibition
by renowned and accomplished visual artists including Dennis McNett,
Matt Furie, Kim Schifino, Mike Houston, Sarah Small, Timothy Archibald,
Erik Tidemann, Mike Force, Hope Gangloff, The Mangina, Toilet Town,
Leon Reid IV, Nick Chatfield-Taylor and more.
