Statement

Observations are mixed media compositions produced by "The Maker," as Yesica Guerra refers to herself. Observations are reflections of everyday issues such as poverty, immigration, race, inequality, segregation, injustice, which become the subjects of her work. Yesica questions the complexities of life and uses art as the tool that gives her the ability and freedom to explore experiment, investigate, and respond to those social subjects that she is concerned with. Art for "The Maker "is the device for a conscious dialogue, one that can have a great impact on society.
