Deborah comes from a long line of artists in her family most of which are women. Her grandmother has a Masters in Art and lived in Matagorda, Texas and painted her whole life for friends and family. You can still see the whimsical grey cranes painted on the cupboard doors in the basement of the beach house where they had huge crab cookouts.
Her aunt is a titled watercolorist who has many awards to her achievement and has a huge lake view studio in Lake Palestine, Texas.
Her sister is an accomplished watercolorist and oil painter who resides in San Antonio, Texas and hangs her paintings in restaurants and galleries alike.
Deborah's two sons are sketch artists who have yet to catch the real artists bug!
She likes to let the painting create itself. She usually starts with a painting in mind but the paintings have a tendency to morph into a vision of its own.
Deborah's collage art flows solely from her inner feelings and inner direction. She paints her visions and dreams floating in and out of the realistic world.Impressionistic oils and acrylics are the artists impressions of how she views the beautiful wildness of nature.
Deborah invites you to enter her website and let your imagination run.
