BORN IN 1947 IN SOUTH CAROLIINA

WORKED AT NBC-TV- COURT SKETCH ARTIST
MOVED TO SANTA FE, N. MEXICO 1985- TO TUCSON AZ. 1996 TO PRESENT

Just recently John has produced a number of oil paintings that has changed the

 way people look a southwest patterns.  He's created abstract paintings  combining

 white and black  to suggest the idea of light as a prime form. John is absorbed with this

 challenge to expressthis define and limited space.  His composition of form as an actual

 framework but to create an atmosphere of shapes through shading.
