I reside in Fort Wayne, Indiana with my wonderful husband Justin and our 4 children. I am a self-taught artist, I realized when I was a very young child that this was what I loved doing. I would sit around drawing and knew that the drawings were pretty good. I just began painting 2 years ago and began trying out new medias, textures, tools, etc... I have come very far in just a short time and love where my paintings are now. My paintings are on display at Northside Galleries. I really enjoy working with acrylics on canvas, the way the colors blend together and the drying time is nice too. When I begin a painting I'm really never sure what will turn out in the end but I always know when it's finished because the feeling of completeness I have. I use several different tools to paint with, I usually find new tools to use just out of curiosity. Trying new techniques is the best advice I could give to another artist. There is no limit to the possibilities of your creations as long as you're open to try new things.
