A 2009 recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts artist-in-residence support Fellowship, Quintan Ana Wikswo is a multi-media artist, photographer, and writer. Her photography has shown at Phyllis Stein Art, the Deborah Martin Gallery, DAC Gallery, 610 Isis Gallery, and the Art Center College of Design Gallery in Pasadena.
Her short texts have been published in magazines including Tin House, Conjunctions, Alaska Quarterly Review, Mississippi Review, Folio, Confrontation, and appear regularly in Denver Quarterly.
Her video installations - in collaboration with acclaimed new music composer Veronika Krausas - have recently shown at the Museum of Jurassic Technology, Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center, and the Composer’s Project at the University of Southern California.
Her work has been honored by fellowships and artist-in-residencies from the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Ucross Foundation, Ragdale, the University of Sydney, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Dorland Mountain Arts Colony and Caldera Center for the Arts. She is currently artist-in-residence at Haute de Fee Centre in Serecourt, France.
