STATEMENT

I would like to apply for the Georgia Fee Artist and Writers Residency in order to continue my focus on art and art criticism.  Being at the residency will enable me to have the ability to work on longer term project and to also be in a setting outside of New York.  I would use the time in Paris to see the various arts and arts' sturctures and to anazlye this in a series of essays.  I would apply the knowledge I have of art structures and which I focus on in my weekly writing but also expand on the international and Paris specific contexts.  I would also do studio visits and a series of interviews with artists based in Paris.
