I am a writer of nonfiction by training and a poet.  However, I have written a mainstream historical novel about a thirteen year old girl married off to a thirty-nine year old man in the 1920's, in New Mexico .  I am looking for a publisher.  This novel would make a great movie.  The nonfiction work is in the area of Chicano/Mexican American Studies and WomenStudies and includes more than twenty-one articles and seven books.  Above is a picture of me reading poetry in China.
