Following his showing at the Venice Biennale, Dario Escobar will open the season at Kamel Mennour on January 5. Esobar is known for his sculptural installations and his interest in recontextualizing everyday objects. Born in 1971 in Guatemala, Escobar's work received notice in the lae 1990's. Since then he has exhibited widely in galleries, museums and biennials in Latin America, North America and Europe.
