Maureen Selwood, a Los Angeles based animation and installation artist is the creator of such film projects as Drawing Lessons, Mistaken Identity, Hail Mary, Flying Circus: An Imagined Memoir, Pearls, This Is Just to Say, The Rug, and Odalisque. She has participated in a series of installations and performances including As the Veil Lifts, As You Desire Me, This is My House and All the Places I Have Ever Lived. She has received grants from the John Solomon Guggenheim Foundation, New York State council on the Arts, The Jerome Foundation and the American Film Institute as well as a visiting artist residency at the MacDowell Colony. She was a recipient of the Rome Prize from the American Academy in Rome in 2002/03. She is on the faculty at California Institute of the Arts.
