My work is a synthesis of the real with a touch of abstraction. Abstract interpretations of memories, sounds, landscapes,feelings translated into shape and color,that explote on canvas or paper creating a strong visual effect, inviting the viewer into my inner world, where light and intense colors are my means of expression.
I have participated in several group shows in Mexico, USA, France, England, Spain, Finland, Turkey, Cuba and Mauritius. 11 solo shows in Mexico. The serie ROOTS has been exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in Toluca, IVEC, Veracruz State Institute of Culture, Arcadio Pagaza Museum in Valle de Bravo and in Alfredo Atala Gallery in Mexico city.
