The mixed media art of David Brady utilizes a host of mediums and materials from found objects and human hair to handmade papers and personal photographs. The works range from intimate box collages to the near life-size, three-dimensional assemblages to his unique works on paper.
Brady's art has been exhibited at the Museum of Fine Art Cuba, The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts, Lilia Arts Center Japan, UCLA/Hammer Museum, The Center for Collage Study France, and others. His work is held in numerous private collections and is currently on view in several galleries, public spaces and museums.
His creative collaborations with Nelson Mandela (The Unity Series), Master poet Amde Hamilton and Composer Mark Simms focus on seriously ill and at-risk teens, Veteran and non-profit programs.
