I am self-taught painter. I started painting when I was 15 years, after seeing it, of my drawings on sheets of notes, went out concrete ways they could become paintings.
I stopped painting at age 22, and I have not done it again until 3 years ago, dedicating more professionally. I sent some pictures of my paintings to an art gallery, and the owner liked my work and she was my agent until he died a few months ago. I still work for the same gallery, but I'm looking for some other more than they want to expose my work here in Barcelona and wants to be my agent.
In my work I try to express my feelings, painted with bright colors and strong contrasts, to try to cheer up the people who are looking it. I always paint with brushes. I like the feeling of lightness that transmits when I slide the paint on the canvas. I prefer oil paint for its colorful, brightness and volume. When I see the final result, which is as close as I try to reflect, I feel very happy, and when I see other people like.
My favorite color is blue Mediterranean sky and its light, I try to give my work.
I always follow the same procedure to paint a picture. First an idea comes to my mind and I try to convey in a drawing that later fills with colors that resemble the original idea and almost always are pretty faithful to the first view.
