Vighen Avetis

VIGHEN AVETIS WAS BORN IN YEREVAN, ARMENIA, ON THE 25D OF JANUARY 1968.           IN 1989 HE ENTERS THE SCULPTURE SECTION OF THE ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS IN ARMENIA.IN 1997 HE GRADUATES FROM THE ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS OF POZNAN, POLAND.VIGHEN AVETIS ENTERS THE ACADAMY OF FINE ARTS OF FLORENCE IN 1998 ANDGRADUATES IN SCUPTURE IN 2004. TODAY HE LIVES IN FLORENCE, WHERE A LARGE NUMBER OF HIS WORKS ENJOYPERMANENT EXHIBITION IN VARIOUS VENUES OF THE CITY.

2009

Realization of a monument dedicated to "Foibe" in Ari, Abruzzo.

Realization Via Crucis for San Carlo di Firenze.

2008

Realization of the fountain complex "Tsovinar" with three sculptures in travertine, situated in V.

Davtyan National Park in Yerevan, Armenia; Vighen becomes an honorary citizen of Arabkir,

Yerevan. Participation in the exhibition "Pittori e scultori Armeni" in Centro D'Arte San Vidal-

U.C.A.I Scoletta Di San Zaccaria, Venice, introduced by the art critic Giorgio Pilla.

2007

Set designer for the movie "Tcntcik", Armenia.

Realization of the church of San Carlo baptismal font, Florence.

Participation in the TELETON in Banca Nazionale del Lavoro BNL, Piazza Della Republica,

Florence.

2006

-Exhibition in the gallery Renassans.

-Exhibition "Ten Florentines", painting and sculpture.

-Realization of various sculptures for "Negrosal", Playa restaurant in Carmen, Mexico.

-Winner of the assistantship competition in the department of sculpture, Accademia Di Belle Arti,

Florence.

-Realization of the altar and the lectern of San Carlo church, Florence.

-Realization of six monumental sculptures for the lobby of PALAZZO BORGHESE, Art Hotel

Borghese Palace, Florence.

-Conception and realization of the sculptural decor for Albergo suites.

2004

-Novara municipal prize for the elaboration of a city square and the realization of a monumental

fountain.

-Exhibition on Ponte Vecchio, Florence.

-Exhibition in the San Carlo dei Barnabiti church, Florence.

-Permanent exhibition in the gallery of the restaurant Sesame.

-Exhibition in Gallery di Firenze.

-Exhibition in the gallery "ViaLarga", Florence, entitled "Quaqlcosa di simpatico" with the painter

and friend Gianfranco Masi. Exposed works: "Maternità", "Firenze", "Regina", "Ritratto di Vaag",
