Los Angeles artist Jennifer Cunningham has been hard at work for the past 12 years capturing the best of Los Angeles through her charming and vibrant watercolors that she draws on location. Known as “Downtown’s Landmark Artist”, Cunningham’s efforts are indeed helping to fuel the Renaissance of Downtown Los Angeles. The Fashion Institute of Design commissioned Jennifer for a watercolor image of their iconic main campus building. The President of FIDM bought the “copyrights” and is looking forward to using it as a major promotional piece. Hal Bastian Inc. a Downtown Revitalization Consulting Firm features and sells her work in their offices. Additionally she was the signature artist for the City Club which included their trademark marketing image on a wide variety of special promotional items. The Omni Hotel has posters and prints of her work for sale in the gift shop. Angel City Press is set to publish a coffee table book that will feature all of Cunningham’s Los Angeles Landmarks.
Jennifer teaches watercolors in her “Paint Landmarks on Location” classes. Students get an opportunity to have a creative experience while enjoying iconic landmarks. Each class includes all the supplies necessary to paint on location. Students learn from a local artist and bring home a work of art as a treasured memory.
After School Art at local Elementary Schools is another way that she shares her talents. Ms Jenny’s classes offer projects in printmaking, watercolors, paper mache, collage and drawing. Kids have a blast making art and expressing themselves creatively. Bringing home their artwork builds terrific self esteem.
She is an Artist whose vision is to open people of all ages up to their creative selves. She teaches art to all stages and levels of experience.
