Sergio Teran's portraits invoke the inner wrestler/saint within his closest companions. His woodcuts exquisitely and irreverently present scenes of uncommon normalcy in which masked patrons share a smoke or conversation at divey joints and diners. The work is beautifully detailed and a refreshing look at the masked wrestler in LA mythology. Fittingly presented as part of the community of NELA galleries, at the beautiful Southwest museum venue.
