I don't have trouble with art galleries that are operated out of residential dwellings, in  a house, apartment, or bungalow, a living room, hallway or bedroom. Yes, they function outside of the typical system (commercial and non-profit) and without proper licenses and/or permits, but I see this as quite irrelevant.
