Gina Stepaniuk is an Associate of Ontarion College of Art and Design University, (OCAD), Toronto, Canada, a Master of Fine Arts from Claremont Graduate University, (CGU), Claremont California. Ms Stepaniuk received the 2009 CGU President’s Art Award for Excellence for painting, Sometimes I Can’t Help Seeing All the Way Through currently in the CGU permanent collection. In 2009, Ms. Stepaniuk was nominated by the CGU faculty for the prestigious award, the Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant in Painting and the C.E. and Bertha M. Harsh Endowed Fellowship.
