Lily & Honglei (杨熙瑛, 李宏磊）the artist team from Beijing, work as new-media artists designers, educator, bloggers and curators. Their creativity and activities aim to promote development Internet based art in China, provoke free-thinking, as well as making serious social, political and cultural commentaries in cyberspace.

Lily & Honglei are currently based in Massachusetts, USA. They both studies fine arts in China, and continued education in digital arts and painting in United States and received MFA from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. While teaching art in colleges in Boston, Lily and Honglei are also dedicated cultural activists enhancing new media art exchanges between the States and China.They founded "Land of Illusion" project in Second Life in 2007, a platform generating virtual-world performance and exhibitions for cultural studies through cross-continents collaborations on the Internet. In 2008, Lily & Honglei founded NY Arts New Media & Net-Art platform affiliated with NY Arts Magazine. They continue advocating that digital art functions as a mean preserving cultural heritages, maintaining sustainability and diversity in a globalized world.
