Georgia Fee, CEO & Editor in Chief of ArtSlant.

Georgia Fee founded ArtSlant.com in 2006 along with Catherine Ruggles, ArtSlant's CTO. Beginning in Los Angeles, Fee and Ruggles have developed a worldwide arts portal that provides local arts coverage on a city-by-city basis. As of 2011, ArtSlant has 14 editions worldwide with plans for opening up 4 new editions in 2012.

Georgia received her MFA from CSULA in 1997 and has been involved with numerous arts organizations including LA Freewaves Media Festival, Foundation for Art Research, Los Angeles, and Armory Center for the Arts, Los Angeles.

Georgia passed away on Saturday evening, December 8th, 2012, in Los Angeles. Her last few days were spent with friends and family, and she was at peace.The Georgia Fee Artist/Writer Residency has been established in her memory. Georgia was dedicated to supporting and investing in young artists and writers, and she had a deep connection with the city of Paris. This residency, which offers artists and writers the opportunity to create work in Paris, has been created in Georgia's memory.
