Eric J. Garcia

Known for mixing history and culture with contemporary themes, Eric J. Garcia always tries to create art that is much more than just aesthetics.  Recently having completed his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Garcia has won many awards including the prestigious Jacob Javits Fellowship and has shown in numerous exhibitions here and abroad.  A versatile artist working in an assortment of media, from paintings, to hand-printed posters, to his new sculptural installations, they all have a common goal of educating and challenging.
