I like the way Joni Gordon described my work in the press release for the exhibition "3 for the Show" at Newspace in 2006: 

Huge, gorgeous shapes fleshed out in true paintings. Their post-Arthur Dove character releases the collective charm of American 1930-1950 painting: felt forms, rich laid on paint; sinuous, sensuous, abstractions of Post-Painting. Paller is a mid-career artist painting from a barely public career in sheer quality and patience.
