QUALITY WORK

I left the field of design education and moved to France in late 1999 to concentrate all of my creative efforts on painting. I think the paintings show that the commitment of time and focus has been well spent. I have continued to learn and have been able to incorporate all of my experience into my work.
Other than one of the local galleries, Art au Zenith, I have made little effort to exhibit, show, or promote my new career, expatriate artist living and working in the south of France.
The time has come for me to increase my work’s exposure to a wider public that includes galleries and other artists. As a beginning, I recently added a profile and slide show of my paintings to “Artslant”. One of the best features of the site from my perspective is the quality of the images in the “large slideshow”. My show is a mix of paintings in private and public collections from 1999-2009, newest work, and a few I just like that are still leaning around my studio I would welcome feedback on this work. Very few artists have seen this work.
I have spent several long hours trying to surf through the huge range of artists on the “Artslant” site to develop a list of artists that I would respect their evaluation of my work. Your work definitely made the LIST. Give me a critique. I have been operating in a vacuum for the last 9 years. I like what I am doing. You may or may not but, I still would like your feedback.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance in my initial effort to gain some exposure and feedback from Artists whose work I appreciate for a lot of different reasons. As a group, you show great work in your profiles and your personal websites.
