I am a retired teacher who has recently completed a  BA [ Camberwell 2001 ] & MA [ Middx 2003 ] Visual Arts in sculpture, photography and video.

My Work conceptually concerns age / identity & how one is viewed by state as one grows older “I am rapidly becoming a spectre ” Roland Barthes . This links to painting’s Impression and abstraction and history of the early moving image / narrative.

I believe art can be the found object, moment and situation. Abstraction, design and colour are fundamental to my work. I enjoy constructing with photography both within the composition and with the arrangement of the finished piece.

 The transition is found in my situation and position in life and the changing definition of who I am and how I am viewed by society.

My philosophy towards the found moment object and moment and structure is crucial connecting to how I think, devise and operate. The blurring the boundaries between fine art, design and modern music is the conceptual and links to my ideas regarding the arts and music interrelating, and, the fact that I ‘sit on the cusp’ of fine art and design. There is a spatial structural aspect linking to my main area sculpture and installation .

The transition from interior to exterior relates to my educational and creative life and ideas.  By examining my ethical concerns through my artistic and creative projects I hope I may educate others.

This year I have been arranging the construction of a studio in my garden,  making products online , entering competitions  and interacting on internet sites such as Saatchi, my space, artsreview, utube9773165,  artslant , artspace,  Flickr, Crunch the Call Centre Squidoo  . I have been  entering competitions  being featured online such as singular creation and upstream 11^TH Annual All Media,  Caladan  6^th Annual Surreal  ,   And in 2005 International Colour Awards USA Nominee                  

I was  published                  in Creative Review Annual    2006 .

         Some of my  photographic canvases are in Center Gallery ,Kansas ,USA at the moment . Earlier this year some work went with East West Artists Culture Club to Osaka Japan, having been to Tokyo 4 years prior. . At the moment there are 3 works in  Presenting top 100 [ Round One] Escape Festival Brighton /Jealous Gallery ,Crouch End . Just opened  on thursday  at Artworks Project with BACT  two works.
