Angelika Mehrens

I am a Modernist , abstract  Fine Artist.

I was born and raised in Germany and moved in my late twenties to the U.S.

I am a self taught Artist , and still learning and studying Art , as it is  an on going process.

 To me Art should communicate, I paint with my "soul" day and night at times.

My inspirations  come from nature, mainly rocks, dirt, certain earth structures, sky, water...in an abstract way. It is that simple!

 letting  the colors flow into each other with a certain  movement and  to watch it all happening is a thrill to me!

The Joy of creating is my life, and I hope to give that pleasure to my customers in a form of a painting which makes them happy, and brightens up their homes.

I work with all kinds of people in the Art world, from my Studio ,which is open to the public for :

Artists, private collectors, Gallery/Hotel/Restaurant owners , Decorators, Designers, etc.

I show my work in Galleries throughout  L.A., Exhibits,  Art Festivals and on Line.
