...The themes of human relationships, religion, belief, pop culture, progress or regress, with the atmosphere of our mad and at the same beautiful world find their reflection in my work. There is a concept of the "deformed" beauty that can be found in reality more often, than the fabricated ideals. The viewer can get introduced to a misbalance in some pictures, which occurs in order to convey the intensity of a situation. Special treatment of color prevails, with the help of which the atmosphere, the idea or the intellectual message is transmitted. Work with color and search for new color decisions - are one of the main components of my works. Arresting attention at the tragedy and fuss of life, color transfers the irony of an event and pleasure of life, despite the present tragic element.

There are very different characters in my work, but more often one can meet creatures with a balloon instead of a head. These are creature-like. Creatures and creature-eaters are alike. They have a spherical structure of head, which is inflated with envy, vanity and other gaseous substances, the essence of which being emptiness. Due to this physiology, they live a very easy existence. The evironment of creature-like acts as a mirror and reflects their own insight at themselves and the world around. They adore fun and just love each other! In truth, because of short memory, creature-like only remember today, they do not have the past. Creatures and creature-eaters are very inventive. They look at the environment around them and copy it. The top of their creativity is the combination of already existing subjects in order to reveal new function. Those creatures that possess ability to do so carry a special name. They name them ‘genius '. In order not to forget about this special creature-like, its colleagues successfully make a copy of its outward appearance. This is the story about the last days of their existence and the metamorphoses that the creatures-likes will go through.

REVIEWS:

Your art for me takes the human experience beyond the boundaries of normal reality we are taught to take for granted, and merges us with all things, and a lot of chaos, turning things upside down, exposing the inner psyche. we seldom see. Dorian Dyer

Tube attachment to a higher source (lower crevice)? Seagulls landing on wing-ed neon vibrant skeptic daisy-eyed self, balancing brains with geranium hearts? But with the Penguin as welder... a sure sign this desert Octopus will smirk at such paradox. Montgomery Rene

You made a very solemn issue into something lighter and yet made one wonder if all of these are really just a comic relief...I guess life should be treated that way specially in these hard times. Fernando Ymas

I love your choice of palette colors; it is reminescent of the early Colorists. From Henri Matisse: "Color is not given to us in order that we should imitate nature. It was given to us so that we can express our own emotions." The whimsical nature of your paintings is a nice contemporization of the original Colorist genre and is perhaps a perfect example of Henri's definition. Steven Fujimoto

interesting merge of pop imagery and politicism. Tina Guide

Brings to my mind an image from Naked Lunch. Post-Modern Surreal Pop. Cary Quixote

I like the synthesis of different styles in your work; it's an an exuberant recipe. You have created a world to explore. Eva Mantell

Art works can be found in private collections in Russia, Germany and Great Britain.
