Katie Hovencamp creates paintings, sculptures and performances that are reflective and mysterious. Her current body of work translates the connection between mythology and modern culture. Hovencamp is Visual artist who was born in Newton, NJ and grew up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. She began studying art at the Baum School of Art in Allentown, PA. Hovencamp then moved to Phoenix, AZ and received her Bachelors in Fine Arts from Arizona State University. She has exhibited in several different cities such as Phoenix, AZ, Kidwelly, UK and New York, NY. She currently resides in New York City.
