Emerging Assemblage Artist

Although I have always enjoyed being an "artist" since my early years, and have tried different venues to express myself through art, it has been through assemblage art, using found objects, that I have found fullfillment the last 3 - 4 years.  I have taken a few art classes and workshops, but am mostly a self-taught artist, I do not have a degree in art, nor have I attended an art college, but I do have a sense of objects working together to form an expression or thought that evokes emotion and a sense of "ah-ha!" in many.

Much of my work is spiritual in nature, some of it takes a light-hearted look at spiritual things, but the majority of my work reflects a much deeper, reflective view of God.

Art As Prayer

Good art is a form of prayer. It's a way to say what is not sayable. (Frederich Busch)

I have used many of my assemblages in an Interactive Prayer Station Exhibit.  The images in my assemblages often bring home a spiritual connection in ways that many can relate to.  Contact me about bringing the Prayer Stations to your Church or Retreat or for a Gallery Showing.
