I want to explore the identities we create and how we mask or unmask things about ourselves. There are things we keep hidden and there are faces we put on and roles we fit into. The personae we take on can reveal more about us than they hide. We all keep things private and safe and guarded, but what happens when we confront what is behind someone else’s mask and what do we do if someone encroaches on our private world? There is a discomfort that exists as we face that usually hidden truth and then it is our choice to deal with it or alleviate the discomfort by buying into the fantasies we all create.
