Karoliina Veijo is a photography artist from Finland. Architecture is her main subject and her trademark are pop art portraits of buildings and urban structures. Strong compositions and vivid colors are characteristic to her work. She often plays with symmetry and layered images.
Karoliina's background within the graphic and movie industry have also left their mark on her visual expression. Her skills at storytelling are manifested on her work that features people, such as the ”From Hanko to the New World” -series about the great emigration from Finland.
The works of Karoliina have been at display in several exhibitions among them galleries and public venues such as ”Helsinki Expo and Convention Center” and ”Rosza Performing Arts Center” in Michigan. She has also collaborated with City of Jyväskylä.
In the future Karoliina aims to expand her artistic expression into video art. She also writes lyrics and makes music.
