Statement

I believe in art as an experience that creates bonds between one´s look and the observed. In an image-saturated contemporaneity like ours, in which everything could be considered an artistic fact, the only thing that could help us understand what art is, are the particular events that transcend the appearance, those that create a link that inscribes itself from the inside out, tapping the keys of human archetypes.

My image quest's corresponds to this belief. I intend to use the polysemous aspect of the signs, to recombine the bricks of our culture's labyrinthic walls. They are images that come from the depths of our symbolic nucleus, manifesting like an epiphany, while I attempt to order them like the pieces of a puzzle. I try to write them down to apprehend the unsaid. One thing for sure; if by reading one of these images, you find yourself in, is because on some wall of the labyrinth, we have already reflected.
