Very rarely do we consider the chemical processes of photography when we look at photographic prints; even less frequently do we consider the printer, the person in the darkroom dodging, burning, adjusting colors and times, emerging occasionally to scrutinize a test strip or analyze an exposure. Martin van Zomeren is pleased to present ‘Density Drawings’, Katja Mater’s (b. 1979, the Netherlands) first solo presentation at the gallery.
