Interdisciplinary artist whose work is close to the performance, installation and sound. She holds a BFA in Sculpture Magna Cum Laude (1999) from the School of Fine Arts of Puerto Rico, a Diploma of Advanced Studies (2004) in Drawing from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Cuenca, Spain and a MFA in Public Art (2012) from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. Her work has been shown at several festivals of performance, including Excentricités, Institut Supérieur des Beaux Arts de Besançon, Besançon, France (2012) and Independence POP, Performance Art Festival in the Dominican Republic (2011). Hernández Gracia has exhibited in international forums, including the Espace Multimédia Gantner, Bourogne, France, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Puerto Rico, METRO / plataforma organizada, Ponce Art Museum, Ponce, Puerto Rico and Exit Art in New York. She teaches sculpture at the School of Visual Arts in Puerto Rico. Recently, she took part in an artist residency, Résidence Internationale, ISBA, Réseau Européen Formation at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux Arts in Besançon, France.
