Brooke Harker is a contemporary American artist based in Los Angeles, California. Her lively paintings of cityscapes are characterized by energetic strokes layered in ink, acrylic and oil on canvas to depict playful expressions of urban scenes.
Brooke can be found painting in her outdoor studio in the San Fernando Valley or live on location around the globe. She currently shows in galleries, alternative spaces and charitable events benefiting children. Her paintings were featured on Season 8 of Hell’s Kitchen on FOX and were sited in More Magazine. Her work lives in various locations in the US, China, Germany, Italy, Poland, Australia and the Phillipines. Most recent exhibits include: The Beverly Hills Art Show, George J Doizaki Gallery in The Japanese American Cultural Center in Los Angeles, Santa Monica Art Studios, DDR Gallery in Santa Monica, CA , and Laguna Gallery of Contemporary Art in Laguna Beach, CA as part of the Open Show at Gallery 825 in Los Angeles curated by Jenny Gheith, Assistant Curator, San Francisco Museum of Modern, and at the Jeanie Madsen Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. Her work is currently featured at the Christopher Morgan Galleries in Laguna Beach, CA.
