My artwork is about color, form, and/or movement, and the relationships that can result with the angular. An Artist's work is often a reflection of the environment that they have lived in. My Dad and Grandfather were both interior designers. My art often reflects that environment, colorful, architectural, often the result of a lot of thought and planning. I was a designer as well, and when i discovered painting a few years ago, painting that I just started doing on the spur of the moment, I realized that I had found what really touches my soul deeply. Much more than design. And sometimes I allow myself to go beyond the planned, architecturally influenced art, and just let things happen. That's when I really discover something about myself as an artist.
