The Art of ZAR

At age 15 ZAR, still a phenotypical female, was told he had an incurable progressively debilitating disease in the Muscular Dystrophy family called Charcot Marie Tooth compounding the hopeless feeling that was born of a marriage between being told he was retarded, stupid, ugly and a problem child.

ZAR began vocal training at age 8, writing philosophical poetry and seeking truth at age 11, playing drums at age 12, Occult studies at age 15, Religious studies and training in various disciplines and playing keyboard at age 18, rewiring and training his brain at age 25, scenic photography at age 26, taking Martial Arts and Mastering the Philosophy at age 27, working with clay and ink at age 32 and finally found out he was on the autism spectrum at age 40. By age 47 he was not only male via breaking physical boundaries of gender medically but his IQ of around 80 had developed toward 141.

Walking many miles in many moccasins, learning to access other dimensions and parallel worlds, having died and been sent back, experiencing underground subcultures and going on a profound pilgrimage for two years to “walk the talk”, he began to think that perhaps he really could break through boundaries and he became someone who wanted to teach what was necessary for true freedom within and conscious evolution.

ZAR’s art and music reflect moving beyond boundaries, blur the fuzzy borders between denser physical reality and realms mostly unseen or manipulating real scenic photography to create a rainbow world bordering on fantasy. Where will it take you?
