In my own words
Much like the universe... art knows no concrete boundaries. The works I produce are ever expansive much like the thoughts and creative energy that flows through me. What I see and translate into something other people can see too is still changing. You might see me smiling...but in my studio there are no jokes. My work is directly related to what ever feelings my current living situation outlines . I also like to think that my way of working is related to building bridges between my feelings and my audience. How much weight can be placed on this bridge before it collapses? How many influences or experiences are necessary to be extracted in order to give the audience a sense that my expressions are genuinely my own instead of a mere attempt to gain popularity or favorable comments about the finished works?. I feel that the most impressive aspect of creativity is its ability to expose and build upon a person's character under stress. I keep this in mind as I make an image, a sculpture or perform a written work in a film or on stage. At the end of the day, the essence of any art lies within the source.
