Biography/ CV

Christina Malfitano

B. 1983

Christina Malfitano was born and raised in New York City.  After completing her Bachelor's Degree in Art History at McGill University she traveled the world making work in Canada, Israel and the West Bank, India, Peru, Brazil and throughout Europe before returning to Brooklyn, New York where she currently resides. Often times her work is born from the dietrus of our material lives.  She works in a variety of mediums, allowing the medium and material to become part of the narrative that she weaves through each piece.
